    100 - $10,000 bills encased in a gold horseshoe provides a unique display for those visiting Binion's Horseshoe.
    62,632 notes of this particular denomination were printed between 1928-1934. In July of 1869 the issuance of $10,000 bills was discontinued.
    The majority of bills remaining in circulation appear in this display.

    History was made at Hoover Dam July 3rd - September 6th, 1983 when, due to excessive spring runoffs, the mighty Colorado River overflowed the floodgates at Hoover Dam, rushing through the Nevada and Arizona spillway tunnels at speeds approaching 120 mph. Each spillway is large enough to float a battleship and has a channel height equal to a 10-story building. The spillway floodgates were last tested in 1941.

    Lehman Caves National Monument is the only National Monument in the State of Nevada. It is a fine example of a limestone cavern with interesting and colorful cave formations. In this scene in the Grand Palace the Parachute - a palette-type formation peculiar to thie cave - may be seen in the center foreground.
