    Branson, Missouri

Table Rock Dam, constructed in 1958, is 6423 feet long and contains 1,230,000 cubic yards of concrete. When all four units are operating 1,000,000 cubic feet of water per minute generate 200,000 kilowatts of electricity. The gates have been opened only a few times in history.

As a side note, all ten gates were opened several times last year (2008) after several storms.
