    Istanbul, Turkey

    Postcrossing postcard #34
The first picture is of the Ortakoy Mosque. The girl that sent the postcard said that she goes there to eat "kumpir", a baked potato with varoius fillings.
The second picture is of the Ihlamur Pavillion, a ceremonial house of the Ihlamur Palace, an Ottoman summer palace (where the Ottoman Emperors went in the summer).
The third picture is Kucuksu, a town in Istanbul. Kucuk means "little" and su means "water".
The fourth picture is Piyerloti. This hill was named after the famour French writer, Pierre Loti. He loved to sit there very often.
