This was sent by my friend, Bettina. This shows the crater of Vesuvius, the New castle and the Bay. Vesuvius is still active, the last eruption being in 1944. It is best known for its eruption in 79 AD, which destroyed the cities Pompeii and Herculaneum. It is 4, 203 feet high.
